Knee pain treatments offered at RIA Endovascular:
The minimally-invasive surgeons at RIA Endovascular can help alleviate your knee pain in a number of ways that do not require surgery. Reducing recovery times, and getting you back to life fast. Some of their treatments include:
Genicular Artery Embolization: Arthritis can cause soft tissue inflammation. Reduction of blood flow to this painful knee tissue can result in months to years of improvement in pain. This is typically performed for mild to moderate knee arthritis.
Nerve ablation: Disruption of nerve signals from the painful knee can be effective for pain relief for months to years. Destroying these nerves does not harm function of the knee but only serves to improve pain. This is typically performed for moderate to severe “bone on bone” knee arthritis and those who continue to have pain despite knee replacements.
